Tango on Tyne
Argentine Tango

Tango-on-Tyne organises beginners classes, teaches advanced dancers and organises dance events at the coast in Tynemouth and in the Newcastle city centre.

Angela Petrocchi and Andi Werner dance and teach Argentinean Tango for more than 15 years. Angela is a trained physiotherapist; Andi is a teacher and a scientist. Our professional skills shape the way we teach and dance. To us, tango means creativity, communication and fun.

Milonga ArgenTyne:

Thank you all for your friendship, support and dances during the last 3 1/2 years that made the Boathouse such a special tango place!

For now it means byebye Boathouse with its stunning view and HELLO Summerhill Pavillion (map) with its charme and great dance floor. To celebrate the move we only charge a nostalic £2 for the first milonga (thereafter it will be the usual £4). Apart from this we will use the same old format, informal, fun class, brownies and a mix of traditional and more modern tangos. We look forward to welcoming everyone at the new home of milonga ArgenTyne!

24th of February

Class starts 7:30 pm, dance from 8:30 until late

Summerhill Pavillion, Winchester Terrace, Newcastle, NE4 6EH

Parking is available inside the gate.
